Cecil Shaw

My name is Cecil L. Shaw Jr. I am a second generation music composer, writer, artist, producer and publisher. I learn the music industry from my father Brother Cecil L. Shaw, gospel legend, writer, artist composer and producer with the Duke & Peacock Label Don Robey owner. My father wrote songs for the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, Staple Singers, The Williams Brothers, The Winstons, The Union Harmonizers, etc. I am a Soul Train and Motown Alumni. I song with the 5th Dimensions, Stevie Wonder, Norman Conners, The Jazz Crusaders, and many others. Stage Presence Music Publishing Company, the song "Think Positive" performed by The Main Ingredient, written by Cecil Shaw and La Marco Nesbitt. I performed on Soul Train in 1974. I also do the annual Motown Show "Dancin In The Street" Bace Productions at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston, Texas. I produced Big Walter Price the Thunderbird Blues Legend and I am the owner of Chameleon Publishing. Congratulations to Jamie Foxx and T-Pain for winning the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards R & B song of the year "Blame It" from the Real Chameleon Publishing BMI - The lizard is out the bag.
